    Description

Experience flying in an A-10 Warthog

The Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog is an A-10 replica joystick and throttle, licensed by the US Airforce.
By using high-quality materials, this set is of very good quality. The Warthog Joystick and Warthog Dual Throttles are mainly made out of metal, meaning that the controllers do not only look imposing, but the total weight of both flight controllers is heavier than 6.5kg. Besides, wear-resistant magnetic sensors are used.

Highly accurate joystick without dead zones

The Warthog Flightstick uses Hall effect sensors. These sensors operate based on magnetism, and therefore their accuracy is very high. Because these magnetic sensors do not contain any moving parts they are wear-resistant.
The joystick has a 5-spring system, which ensures a smooth, linear resistance without any dead zones. The stick is equipped with 19 different action buttons, giving a realistic feeling of compressive force, which can be programmed at your own discretion and insight.

Easily interchangeable Grip, also suitable for your cockpit

Warthog’s A-10C Grip Flight Stick is easily interchangeable. You can mount an F-16 or F-18 grip (both sold separately), or the iconic Thrustmaster Cougar, on this base within seconds.
The base can also easily be unscrewed from the bottom plate, so you can easily mount it in your cockpit.

    Dual Throttles with realistic afterburner

The Warthog’s Dual Throttles’ throttle axes use the magnetic Hall effect sensors as well. Besides that, the resistance of the axes is adjustable. This allows you to accurately regulate the power of your aircraft. Thanks to Thrustmaster’s patented ‘pull and push’ system you the afterburner gives you a realistic experience. With as many as 17 different action buttons, all the most important functionalities are (literally) at your fingertips.
The control panel of the A-10 Warthog replica offers an additional 15 action buttons, a trim wheel, and five programmable LEDs.

Works ‘out of the box’ with the most popular flightsims

If you connect the Thrustmaster Warthog to your Windows PC, you will notice that it is immediately recognized. It is compatible with the most popular flightsims, such as DCS World, Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 11.

Do you want to enjoy endless possibilities to program your joystick, outside of your flightsim? Then make use of the free T.A.R.G.E.T.
(Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor) software. T.A.R.G.E.T. allows you to program your Thrustmaster flightsim hardware the way you want to.

    Pros and cons

    • Flightstick and Throttle are very accurate‚ thanks to the magnetic sensor
    • The HOTAS system has a heavy base‚ ensuring it remains stable while using it
    • Endless possibilities to program your joystick‚ thanks to TARGET software
    • It is not possible to operate your rudder‚ as the stick does not have a twist
