Frequently Asked Questions about Flightsim Throttle Quadrants
Is it possible to combine a controller and throttle from different brands?
Yes. That's absolutely no problem.
All throttles have their own USB-connection and are recognized by your favourite flight simulator.
How many throttle axis would you recommend?
There is no easy answer to this question, as it depends on the type of airplane you're flying.
If you're a beginner - or flying in single engine military jets - we would recommend a single-axis throttle. For all other aircraft we would advice multiple axis to get the most flexible setup (these can be freely assigned within Flight Simulator to suit your preferences).
Not sure what hardware fits best?
You can find a lot of different Flight Simulator Throttles on this page. But what if you're not completely sure what type of controller fits you best?
No worries! We've got you covered with a dedicated page for beginning pilots. On this page, we guide you through the different models and options and explain everything about joysticks, yokes, rudder pedals, and throttles.
