    Description

    Wide clarity for serious sims

Pimax Crystal Super is built for simmers and VR enthusiasts, delivering crisp visuals that help you read cockpit instruments, gauges, checklists, and distant scenery at a glance. Dual QLED+MiniLED panels output 3840 × 3840 pixels per eye, while glass aspheric lenses give a wide, uniform “sweet spot” so details stay sharp across your view. Built-in eye tracking enables Dynamic Foveated Rendering to prioritize detail where you look and keep frame rates smooth. Crystal Super is a PCVR-only headset over DisplayPort and works with SteamVR or OpenXR via Pimax Play.

    Tracking that fits your setup

Four integrated cameras provide inside-out tracking for your headset and controllers—no base stations required. If you prefer outside-in tracking, an optional Lighthouse faceplate lets you use Valve base stations (required and sold separately) for room-scale or specific controller ecosystems. Automatic interpupillary distance (IPD) adjustment aligns the optics to your eyes for comfort and clarity during long flights and racing sessions.

Setup, software, and what we recommend

Connect the 5 m DisplayPort cable, install Pimax Play, and launch your titles through SteamVR or an OpenXR runtime. Performance depends on your sim and settings; to get the most out of Crystal Super’s resolution and local dimming, we recommend an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 or better. This helps you maintain high detail, smooth motion reprojection, and clear instrument readability in complex aircraft and dense scenery.
